Waldorf Astoria (formerly The Hotel Maria) - Helsinki, Finland.
The Hotel Maria was a significant luxury project with a total investment value of over €100 million. Spanning four historically prominent buildings from 1885–1930, featuring 116 rooms and suites with luxury amenities including dining, bar and world-class spa and wellness facilities. KOA Communications was instrumental in not only the launch phase but during the hotel sale and brand transition. The hotel was acquired by M&L Group in 2025 and, in partnership with Hilton Group, the hotel became the first Waldorf Astoria in the Nordics.
Social Media & Marketing Strategy

KOA Comms has been with The Hotel Maria since it’s pre-launch phase from 2022 to today. We have curated The Hotel Maria’s social media channels with caption creation, art direction on content and continuation of the brand story though the digital channels. We also consult on marketing strategy across the hotel’s functions including F&B, spa & wellness and events.

KOA Comms currently consults for The Hotel Maria in producing the copy for external communications as well as copywriting for hotel marketing material. We also assist in the art direction for content creation on site at the hotel.

We currently work with The Hotel Maria to be the English language “voice of Maria” which we crafted in the pre-launch phase in early 2023 to create the brand tone of voice and identity though hotel communication. We also assist in the addition of content to the website as well as consulting on the UX and SEO / metadata.

Palazzo Versace Hotel & Residences - Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Palazzo Versace Dubai Hotel & Residences is an extension of the iconic Versace fashion brand and the second Palazzo Versace hotel developed. Inspired by 16th-century Italian palaces, the hotel features 215 rooms and suites, all exclusively designed by Versace, with lavish interiors and furnishings. The property also includes 169 private residences.

The objective was to support the marketing team in native English copywriting for marketing materials to reflect the hotel guest experience and support sales of the residences while adhering to strict brand guidelines.

VALØ Sweden - Stockholm, Sweden
VALØ Sweden is the first ultra-premium, smoke and tobacco-free nicotine pouch in the global market. We created the new market segment, developed the brand from concept to market and established the brand within large retail operators.
Concept to Market Branding

A full brand suite was created to reflect a Nordic lifestyle and a premium market positioning. The name, logo, flavour names and descriptions, product packaging and digital and physical materials were developed by KOA Comms.
Art Direction & Content Creation

The brand is the first of it’s kind in the nicotine pouch market. We created a new premium segment to serve a set of clients that expect more in their experience.
As nicotine is a highly regulated market, we work closely with the team on their socials and campaigns with continuous market analysis.

Villa La Felice - Lake Como, Italy
Villa La Felice is a private lakefront villa located on Lake Como, offering breathtaking lake views and direct access to the water. The villa accommodates up to 12 guests and is a prominent property in the area of Pianello del Lario.
Marketing Strategy

We have recently onboarded Villa La Felice as they wanted to expand their offerings and widen their markets. We are working with them to reach new international audiences and consulting on strategies to broaden their current service model from accomodation to weddings, events and corporate / lifestyle retreats.
Art Direction

Villa La Felice is a hidden jewel on the Lake Como shoreline in the picturesque location of Pianello De Lario. KOA Comms have collaborated with a local team to direct new visual assets, telling the story of the villa in an impactful and inspirational way and sharing the spirit of La Felice.
